Good morning,One person is dead and two others are hospitalized following a devastating crash on U.S. 50 in the Deerwalk area. The accident happened Wednesday afternoon near Progress Ridge Road when a pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer hauling lumber, causing the rig to flip and scatter debris across the highway. A medical helicopter was called to the scene to transport the injured, and while one westbound lane has since reopened, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office is still working to identify those involved.In political news, a wave of upsets hit the Mid-Ohio Valley during Tuesday’s primary.
