Good morning.Mike Brenning has officially taken over as Interim Corning Town Supervisor following the sudden resignation of Jenniffer Tuttle. Tuttle, previously known as Jenniffer Mullen, resigned from office after entering a felony guilty plea in Steuben County Court for offering a false instrument for filing. State investigators proved Tuttle fraudulently collected more than one thousand dollars in unemployment benefits from the New York State Department of Labor. Brenning will fulfill the role through the end of the year ahead of a special municipal election this November.Meanwhile, New York State Police have released the identities of the out-of-state individuals involved in Sunday morning's fatal two-vehicle collision in Schuyler County. Investigators state thirty-one-year-old Prasanna Atlur of New Jersey was killed after a north-bound Tesla ran a red traffic light at Alpine Junction and slammed into a Dodge Charger driven by Bryan Woodworth of Elmira.And the state Department of Transportation is warning local commuters to expect daily single-lane closures and travel delays along Route three-fifty-two in East Corning starting next Wednesday to accommodate a comprehensive pavement resurfacing project.For more news, download the radioNOVO app. I’m Codi Gaboff, radioNOVO News.
